Axis is still “trading very healthily” with multi-line clients that formerly bought property and catastrophe coverage from the reinsurer, and the carrier will look to “earn and defend every dollar of reinsurance premium” from ongoing business it wishes to maintain, according to CEO Albert Benchimol.
